According to the American Physical Thеrару Association, “Physical therapists are movement experts who treat people of all ages and abilities, helping them improve and maintain function and quality of life. Physical therapists create individual treatment plans to match each person’s goals, helping people improve their fitness and function, avoid surgery, reduce the use of opioids and other drugs, and partner in their own care.”
There are over 200,000 licensed PT’s in the US, and yet only 9.58% of all patients who could benefit from seeing a physical therapist ever make an appointment. This is changing now that you no longer need a referral from a physician. That’s right: because of ‘Direct Access’, you can see a physical therapist for the first 30 days without a referral from a physician.
The answer is simple: one-on-one patient-focused care. In many clinics, physical therapists have to juggle multiple patients at the same time. This is good for the bottom line, but it’s not very good for the patient or therapist. At Therapy 360 you will receive Nina’s undivided attention for the duration of your visit — in a unique and beautiful setting!
All Physical Therapists have extensive training and experience. Some treat specific patient groups (pediatrics, geriatrics, sports, women’s health, etc). Nina treats adults, and she can help with the following: movement impairments (sports, ergonomics, etc.); scoliosis; spinal health (low back, neck, etc.); pre- and post-surgical rehab (shoulder, back etc.); repetitive strain injuries; muscle and connective tissue pain, sports injuries (running, tennis, etc.); breast cancer rehab (post-surgical); shoulder, hip and ankle dysfunction; scar tissue mobilization; Pilates and Yoga exercises; and spinal stabilization.
After you have made an appointment, Nina will send you a registration form via email, which can you complete and sign on your desktop, laptop or tablet. Nina will review this information prior to your visit.
During your firѕt appointment, Nina will perform an evaluation to fully understand your condition and develop a treatment plan consisting оf еxеrсiѕеѕ and other activities designed tо target your соnditiоn аnd trеаt it.
